"I was looking to replace a working 25-year-old furnace with a high-efficiency unit along with adding a heat pump. Met with 6 companies (from small-to-national) over the course of a month who offered various brands/packages and a range of specifications. I had been doing a lot of research into HVAC equipment, the tonnage needed to adequately service my entire house and of course the eligibility of the proposed units to qualify for the various government rebates available so was fairly familiar with what I needed. Furnace selection was straightforward while the heat pump had various constraints along with uncertainties regarding the rebates.
While their pricing and brand/model offerings were comparable to all the other quotes, I chose Dynamic Mechanical due to their knowledge, honesty and willingness to go beyond just meeting basic requirements.
Bill and John were very responsive and helpful in explaining the flow mechanics, ducting and heat pump sizing; answering my concerns and thus confirming my findings. Cam, Lucas and Bill spent a couple of full days installing the matched equipment, upsizing the existing ducting where possible to accommodate the larger heat pump I requested and making sure everything was fully tested and functional with basic operations explained. They were all very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and professional to the highest degree.
